The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is urging parents and guardians to initiate the online registration process for their children’s enrollment in boarding schools for the 2024 academic year.
Moses Mhike, the ministry’s permanent secretary, highlighted that online registration commenced on November 1st and will continue until January 15th of next year.
Mhike emphasized the ministry’s commitment to delivering quality education to all Zimbabweans and discouraged any attempts to use bribes to secure school placements. Additionally, Mhike reiterated that administering Form One entrance tests by boarding school heads goes against policy, and any involvement in such practices will be dealt with. T
o promote transparency and prevent corruption, the government has introduced the Electronic Ministry Application Platform (EMAP) for the enrollment process.
