WestProp Holdings Limited CEO Ken Sharpe has unveiled a groundbreaking partnership with the Radisson Group to develop Zimbabwe’s first-ever Radisson-branded serviced apartments.

The project, set within the Millennium Heights development in Harare, aims to redefine luxury accommodation, catering to both business travellers and investors seeking high-end real estate opportunities.

Sharpe emphasised the significance of the collaboration, stating:

“This development will attract both tourists and business travellers, while offering investors the chance to own part of a luxury property. By partnering with Radisson Group, we are confident this management deal will set a new benchmark for hospitality in Harare.”

The project has been officially approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ), marking WestProp’s entry into the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) market. Sharpe announced plans to list the REIT on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX), providing local and foreign investors with a new investment avenue.

Through a collaboration with Nhoro Asset Management Pvt Ltd, investors can purchase units in the development from as little as US$500. Benefits include an 8% guaranteed annual rental income, access to premium amenities, and discounted accommodation rates for unit holders.

Sharpe assured investors of a secure and regulated investment structure, with Kreston Trustees managing unit holder interests for greater transparency.

Industry experts believe the project will significantly boost economic growth and job creation, further enhancing Harare’s status as a premium travel and business destination.

“The Radisson serviced apartments will be a game-changer for the city’s hospitality industry and reinforce WestProp’s commitment to delivering world-class developments,” Sharpe noted.
