Authorities are investigating two separate murder cases that occurred on 3 June 2025, one in Mvundura Village, Kasekete, Muzarabani, and another at Manguba Business Centre, Madlambuzi.

In Muzarabani, Gamuchirai Mvundura (21) allegedly killed Jestos Tsikire (51) following a dispute over a missing goat. Reports indicate that Tsikire had accused Mvundura of theft, leading to a violent confrontation. Mvundura later took his own life by hanging.

Meanwhile, in Madlambuzi, Pastor Moyo (18) was arrested in connection with the murder of Qiniso Ndlovu (18). Moyo, along with Mkhuliseli Gumbo (21) and Sabata Moyo (21), allegedly attacked Ndlovu after finding him speaking with Moyo’s niece at a secluded location, which led to a heated argument. The other suspects remain at large, and police are appealing for information to assist in their capture.

Authorities urge the public to report any relevant details to the nearest police station to aid ongoing investigations.
