Zimbabwean RnB singer Nyasha David is reeling from a devastating break-in at his apartment, where thieves stole a laptop containing unreleased music and other valuable items. The ‘Ta Ta Ta’ hitmaker discovered the theft upon returning from a performance at Club Zeus (Olympus) in Harare, where he shared the stage with artists such as Holy Ten, Nutty O, Chillmaster, and Oriyano during DJ Fujee’s birthday celebrations.

Among the stolen items were an HP Probook G7 laptop, two Toshiba 500GB hard drives, two iPads (2nd and 5th generation), a PlayStation 4 with four controllers and games, a Soundcore Rav Neo speaker, and a pair of Timberland boots. The laptop and hard drives, however, are the most significant losses as they contain years of unreleased music and creative work.

In a heartfelt plea on social media, Nyasha David appealed to the public for assistance, saying, “Kune munhu andibira madeko, ndokupa hako mari kana ukandidzorera laptop nema hard drive. Mune basa rangu rese wangu, wandikwadza.” (Someone stole from me, and I will reward you if you return my laptop and hard drives. You’ve taken all my work, and you’ve hurt me deeply.)
