Ruthless father beds minor daughter

A 38-year-old Concession man appeared at the Bindura Regional Magistrate court on Thursday facing charges of raping his 11-year-old daughter.

The accused ( name withheld) of Kenge Farm in Concession appeared before Magistrate Amos Mbobo. The State alleged the accused raped the minor in the absence of her mother early this month.

It said the accused person on February 01 after scheming, called his 11-year-old daughter back home from their neighbour’s place where she was left.

On arriving, the minor allegedly went into their kitchen hut to prepare some food for the accused. Unbeknownst to her, the paedophile was already behind forcibly undressing her.

He allegedly went on to rape her and ordered her to keep the heinous act her secret. The following day, her aunt saw her having difficulties walking.
She asked her what was going on and she narrated her experience under her father.

The aunt reportedly then took her to Concession police and made a police report which led to the accused’s arrest. The victim was medically examined at Concession Hospital where forced penetration was recorded.

The accused will come for trial next Monday, February 19.
