Whiskey Tennis (34) has been sentenced to 60 years’ imprisonment by the Bindura Magistrates’ Court for a series of violent robberies and unlawful entries in Mashonaland Central.

The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe revealed that Tennis’s crimes included theft of cash, electronics, and household goods, using a pistol and wooden stick to intimidate his victims.
In June 2024, Tennis invaded a residence in Greenhill, Bindura, threatening Lindiwe Kuzondishaya with a pistol and a stick, forcibly taking US$1600.
On 21st September 2024, he targeted Tafadzwa Ngwenya, threatening her with the same weapons and stealing US$12,000, a plasma TV, an HP laptop, and a Huawei phone.
Tennis committed further violent crimes in Concession, Chiweshe, Bindura, and surrounding areas, consistently using violence and fear to terrorise his victims.
