Zimbabwe’s gold sector witnessed impressive growth in April 2025, with gold deliveries reaching 3.9 tonnes, marking a 62.5% increase compared to 2.4 tonnes in April 2024.
The spike in output was largely driven by small-scale producers, whose contribution more than doubled compared to the previous year, according to Fidelity Gold Refiners, the country’s official gold buyer.
