Wicknell Chivayo gifts Coach Rambo Toyota Aqua and US$20,000

Harare businessman Wicknell Chivayo has announced he is gifting Victor Kazembe, popularly known as Coach Rambo “the Life Saver”, a Toyota Aqua and US$20,000, according to a statement he posted on social media.

In the post, Chivayo said he had been asked by social media users to recognise Kazembe, but stressed that he prefers to first understand a person’s background and actions before offering support.

Chivayo said he did not watch a full video shared about Kazembe, explaining that he stopped after hearing comments he did not agree with. However, he said what stood out to him was an account that Kazembe “went swimming in thick sewage waters” in an attempt to rescue children in Harare.

“Zvisinei all I heard was he went swimming in thick sewage waters trying to save some children somewhere muno mu HARARE. Aiwa tinokutendai MUKOMA and for that i say WELL DONE ramba wakadaro,” Chivayo wrote.

He said Kazembe can collect the vehicle and the money on Saturday morning from Madzibaba Chipaga, whom he identified as the person handling the handover.

“On Saturday morning he can gladly go and see MADZIBABA CHIPAGA and collect a TOYOTA AQUA and USD20,000 for fuel,” Chivayo wrote.
