Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) have confirmed an all-format home series against Bangladesh in June and July, featuring one Test, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is).
According to the schedule released by ZC, the tour begins with a one-off Test at Harare Sports Club from 28 June to 2 July. The ODI series will also be staged in Harare, before the teams move to Bulawayo’s Queens Sports Club for the three-match T20I leg.
The fixtures will be Zimbabwe’s first home internationals since their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign, where they reached the Super Eight stage for the first time and recorded wins over Australia and Sri Lanka, the ICC reported.
The sides last met in a Test series in Bangladesh in 2025. Zimbabwe won the opening Test by three wickets before Bangladesh levelled the series 1-1.
Bangladesh last toured Zimbabwe in 2022, when Zimbabwe won both the ODI and T20I series 2-1.
Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Givemore Makoni said the tour marked the return of top-level cricket to home venues. “We are delighted to confirm Bangladesh’s tour of Zimbabwe for what we expect to be a highly competitive and exciting series across all formats,” he said.
“This tour is hugely significant for us as it marks the return of top-level international cricket to our home venues following the team’s outstanding performances at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year,” Makoni added.
He said fans would have the opportunity to support the national team in both Harare and Bulawayo. “Our supporters have every reason to be proud of what we have achieved in recent months and we are looking forward to seeing fans once again rally behind the team in Harare and Bulawayo,” he said.
The ICC noted Bangladesh recently recorded a 2-0 Test series win over Pakistan as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27, and will play Australia in three ODIs and three T20Is before travelling to Zimbabwe.
