In-form forward Tawanda Maswanhise withdraws from the Warriors squad for the Unity Cup, with the player being granted leave to rest after what is described as a long season at Scottish club Motherwell.
Maswanhise is among Zimbabwean players based abroad who feature strongly during the season, and his absence reduces options in attack for Warriors coach Kaitano Tembo ahead of the four-nation tournament in the United Kingdom.
Zimbabwe is scheduled to play Nigeria in the semi-finals. The Unity Cup also features India and Jamaica.
The latest withdrawal follows earlier squad changes linked to injuries and player availability. Tino Kadewere misses the tournament through injury, while Belgium-based winger Bill Antonio is excused after requesting leave due to a personal commitment.
Defender Divine Lunga is also unavailable because of club commitments after Mamelodi Sundowns qualifies for the CAF Champions League final.
